Course Objective:
If you are currently working with local authorities and apart of a diving rescue team, this course is designed for you. This course will give you the solid foundation of surface and underwater skills necessary to conduct safe diving procedures in the world of public safety diving.
Prerequisites:

18 years old

PADI Rescue Diver

Affiliated with a public safety team

Complete the DIVER MEDICAL - Participant Questionnaire. Read the form carefully. If you are able to answer "YES" to any of the questions, a Physician must SIGN OFF and give APPROVAL for you to participate in diving activities.

It is also recommended that you have the Drysuit, Full Face Mask, and Night Diver Certifications
​What is Involved?
You will be introduced to special equipment, procedures, communications and documentation requirements for a public safety diving operation. Compass navigation, search patterns, rope-pull communications, and victim recovery will all be covered.
