Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Course

Glide over reefs, buzz around a large wreck or weave through canyons!

Course Objective:

To train divers how to assemble, disassemble, and safety dive with underwater scooters.

Prerequisites:

12 years old
Certified Open Water Diver
Complete the DIVER MEDICAL - Participant Questionnaire. Read the form carefully. If you are able to answer "YES" to any of the questions, a Physician must SIGN OFF and give APPROVAL for you to participate in diving activities.

What is Involved?

PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle eLearning Course
2- Open Water Dives (each dive will use 2/3rd of our battery supply getting us over 1.25 miles underwater!)
Proper maintenance for the DPV
Learn DPV-handling skills

How Many Students In The Course?

We are only able to handle one DPV student at a time due to our limited supply of DPVs.

How Long Is The Course?

This course is (2) dives completed over two days. We will have about 120 minutes underwater between the two dives.
